1. Prep Your Hair: Ensure hair is completely dry and apply a heat protectant spray evenly.
2. Section Hair: Divide your hair into manageable sections, working from the bottom layers up.
3. Heat Tool: Plug in your crimper and let it heat up to the desired temperature (use lower for fine hair, higher for thick).
4. Crimp Roots: Take a thin, 1-inch wide section, place the crimper near the root (avoiding scalp), clamp down for 5-10 seconds.
5. Move Down: Slide the crimper down the hair and clamp again, repeating this "clamp, slide, clamp" motion down the length of the section.
6. Add Volume (Optional): For extra lift, crimp only the under-layers or roots.
